Nations That Provided 9/11 Terrorists Get Pass on Ban

Dangerous Idiots

By MJ Vara

So here's the logic, according to White House Chief of Staff Reince Priebus on Sunday's Meet the Press with Chuck Todd, as to why no "heads up" or grace period was given to ready agencies/officials/public so that ban would not be so chaotic (I am not quoting verbatim, but I am accurately representing his words, click link below for full interview.)

Priebus: That would give terrorists a chance to buy a ticket to U.S. earlier than planned and before the ban went into effect.

Todd: Okay, but several nations were left off the list (Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Lebanon, UAE) where Trump has business interest/properties.

Priebus: Well, maybe we will get those nations on ban in time.

Todd did not follow up on that.

So I will: Wouldn't that give terrorists a chance to buy a ticket to U.S. earlier than planned and before the ban went into effect?

By the way folks, those countries not on the ban list are the very nations that provided all 19 of the 9/11 hijackers.

Dangerous amateurs and idiots!

The past few days have reminded me of one of my favorite things my father, Mario Vara (a Cuban refugee who fled totalitarianism and came to the United States in 1968) would often say:

"When you stand up for fairness and justice, and you feel defeated, scared and insignificant in the face of those with titles, power, and money --- remember this: in our nation we all hold the highest office and title in the land: that of Citizen of the United States of America."
