A post on social media suggest that Thomas Johnson III, the suspect in the shooting death of Rochester, NY Police officer Daryl Pierson, may have a hit on his life.

According to Rochester Police, Johnson shot officer Pierson on Hudson Avenue September 3rd, after Pierson tried to arrest him for a parole violation.

Last week, a Rochester man who goes by the Facebook name 'Bain Cragnolin', but whose real is Corey Crag, posted a photo (above) of Johnson, with the caption "Bounty at $5,000 for-Thomas Johnson. It's time to eliminate the cancer amongst us! All proceeds go to our slain officer's family.. Share if you actually care!"

The post has since been removed from Crag's Facebook page.

If in fact there is a hit on Johnson, who is at the Monroe County Jail, is the Rochester, NY Police department behind it?

I will be updating this piece.
