Take a good look at the image below.
At first glance, it looks real.
A young child and his parents, looking at several brand new, shiny bicycles at a department store.
Reminds you of the 1970's?
Well, the image is NOT REAL.
It's actually A.I. GENERATED.
Made to look like an actual vintage photo, with the intention of evoking nostalgic memories.
Perhaps of your own childhood.
These A.I. images are flooding social media platforms like Facebook.
In fact, while I won't mention the name of one of the Facebook pages which is promoting these FAKE images, as I refuse to give them any promotion, I will tell you that the Facebook page has thousands of followers.
DISTURBING.
And just another example of how A.I.is changing life as we know it.
And most folks scrolling on social media, thinking these images are "so cool", and "liking them", ARE COMPLETELY CLUELESS.
Not only do most people not realize that the FAKE images are artificially generated, but they're sharing the FAKE images with other clueless folks.
Who don't realize it either.
Ok, let me show you something else.
Tale a look at the A.I. image below.
If you grew up in the 1970's and 80's, you probably remember going to Kmart with your parents.
I know I do.
Anyone remember Kmart's "Blue Light Specials"?
So at first glance the A.I. image may bring up some great memories of your childhood, right?
Which again, is the entire point of these FAKE images.
But I want you to take another good look at the image.
Do you notice it yet?
The two men sitting at the tables eating?
They're the same FAKE 'man'.
And so is the one in the blue jacket, standing in back, as the FAKE cafeteria employee is preparing a FAKE plate of FAKE food.
We are truly living in some extremely surreal, and weird times.
And it's going to get even weirder.
By the way, the photos below are REAL PHOTOS.
The first one is of me on my bike in 1977 in Miami, Florida.
The second is my brother Mano on his brand new green banana seat bike in 1970.
I don't know about you, but I find it both sad as well as very disturbing how A.I. is slowly changing and replacing the one thing that makes us--well, us.
OUR MEMORIES.
Thank you for reading.
