YouTube Channel would like to thank New York State Trooper Christopher Cady from Troop E in Canandaigua, NY, whose quick and brave actions helped save a man trapped inside his sinking vehicle.
The incident happened Sunday afternoon at Cross Lake Marina in the Town of Cato, NY in Cayuga County.
That's when a 911 call came in around 2:37 pm. for a vehicle sinking in the water with a person trapped inside.
Video from Trooper Cady's body-worn camera (LINK BELOW)shows him running down a wooden dock before jumping into the water.
Trooper Cady then used a window punch to break the vehicle's sunroof and then along with a good samaritan, pulled the man to safety.
Thank you to NYS Trooper Cady as well as to the good samaritan.
REAL SUPERHEROES!
