Rochester, NY City Court Judge Leticia Astacio's family, especially her daughter were tight Thursday afternoon in court for her mother's sentencing for violating the terms of her probation for a DWI conviction.
After Judge Stephen Aronson sentenced Judge Astacio to 60 days in jail, three years probation, and electronic ankle bracelet monitoring, Judge Astacio's daughter yelled at Judge Aronson; "Fuck you Judge!"
Monroe County, NY Sheriff's deputies quickly removed the young Astacio from the courtroom and Judge Astacio was led away in handcuffs.
Astacio had already been in jail since last month.
Perhaps the most disturbing part is that taxpayers are still paying Judge Astacio's $173,000 salary.
That's right.
Judge Astacio is still a judge, while the New York State Judicial Conduct Commission continues to "investigate" and decides whether or not to remove Judge Astacio from the bench.
