The Davy V. Blog was the first independent media platform to report on the Gates, NY Police shooting and killing a person in the Rochester, NY suburb.
It took Rochester, NY mainstream news media almost 12 HOURS to report that a Gates, NY Police Officer shot and killed a person early Sunday morning around 1:00 a.m.
And here's what we know:
ABSOLUTELY NOTHING.
That's because the Gates, NY Police Department said it will not be releasing any information until a joint press conference with the Monroe County, New York Sheriff's Office, who Gates, NY Police say will be investigating the shooting along with the New York State Attorney General's Office.
Which is both interesting and extremely disturbing as the Monroe County, NY Sheriff's Office is currently under investigation by the New York State Attorney General's Office after two Monroe County, NY Sheriff Deputies executed a mentally ill man who was suicidal and having a mental health crisis.
So we wait.
Until the Gates, NY Police Department gets their story straight.
