A Gates, NY Police Officer shoots and kills a woman, 27-year old Haley Rodriguez on Spencerport Rd. in the suburban town just outside Rochester, NY.
It then took Gates, NY Police Chief Robert Long 38 HOURS to get in front of news cameras to hold a press conference.
38 HOURS.
According to Chief Long, his officer saw the young woman standing in the middle of the road, and when he approached her, she pulled a replica gun out from her waistband and pointed it at the officer.

Chief Long would not say how many times the young woman was shot but did confirm that she was handcuffed.
Think about that.
As Haley Rodriguez lay dying in the middle of the street, Gates, NY Police handcuffed her.
